"I've always wanted to record a collection of covers, because it's like I'm inviting everybody into my world," J. Vito shared. "I get to let people hear what I feel when it comes to certain songs. I get to make the song my own, my moment... The title of this EP is a bit of a play on words. It started with me singing covers on social media reels from my couch, so I decided to make the title just that. The cover art is a picture of a blanket draped over a couch and that's what I'm giving you: Covers From The Couch. My goal was to just have fun with this one. I'm open to suggestions of what other songs to cover next!"
Released via Radio Candy Entertainment/EMPIRE, Covers From The Couch is available now on all major digital streaming platforms. The project serves as an appetizer for fans as J. Vito finalizes his highly-anticipated full-length solo album.

Born James Darrell Tillman Jr. in Cheraw, South Carolina, J. Vito, affectionately known as J.J. to family and friends, grew up in Anson County, North Carolina. His musical roots run deep, with his father serving as both a pastor and a member of the gospel quartet The Voices of Harmony. J. Vito's passion for music was nurtured through his upbringing in the church, where he honed his skills as a vocalist, pianist, and drummer.
In 2010, J. Vito's career took a pivotal turn when he joined R&B star Anthony Hamilton's band as a background vocalist. His talent shone alongside his fellow singers, and together they evolved into The Hamiltones—later rebranded as The Ton3s—a dynamic trio that captivated audiences with viral social media videos and collaborations with icons like Snoop Dogg and Tori Kelly. Their dedication and artistry earned them Grammy recognition and a growing fanbase worldwide.
